MOTOVIP ("we", "our", or "us") operates the MOTOVIP mobile application and website at motovip.app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Data We Collect

• Account info: name, email address, profile photo (via Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-in)
• Profile info you provide: city, state, country, birth year, riding styles, bike information
• Location: GPS coordinates during active rides and to show nearby riders/events. Never stored permanently — ride GPS data is deleted when the ride ends.
• Camera: used only when you choose to upload photos of your bike, rides, or profile
• Ride stats: distance, duration, top speed, curve count — stored to display your ride history
• Messages: direct messages and group chat between riders
• Device info: push notification token for ride alerts and messages

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and improve the MOTOVIP app features
• Show you nearby riders, events, and routes
• Send push notifications for messages, ride invites, and alerts
• Display your ride history and statistics
• Emergency SOS — share location with your emergency contacts if you activate SOS

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Firebase (Google): authentication and real-time GPS during rides
• Cloudflare: media storage for photos and videos
• Stripe: payment processing for group subscriptions (no card data touches our servers)
• Twilio: SMS for emergency SOS alerts only
• Other riders — only the profile information you choose to make visible

4. Location Data

GPS is used during active rides only. Real-time position is stored in Firebase RTDB and permanently deleted when your ride ends. We never store GPS coordinates in our database. You can disable location sharing at any time in Settings.

5. Camera

Camera access is requested only when you choose to upload a photo. We do not access your camera in the background.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes all your data.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at [email protected].

8. Children

MOTOVIP is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
